Education & Experience

Caroline McKee is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in biblical counseling (MABC). She completed her undergraduate degree in Child and Family Studies at Baylor University in 2012. After spending several years working in church ministry, Caroline pursued vocational counseling seeking to integrate her ministry experience with her desire to help people grow and change. Caroline believes that counseling offers a unique opportunity for vulnerability, heart transformation, and real change.

Caroline and her husband Will have been married for 11 years and enjoy the ways their three boys, (Ages 8, 6, and 5 months), keep them active. As a family they enjoy art and creative projects, walks with their labradoodle Stormy, and board games.

Interests & Specialties

Caroline enjoys partnering with families and children as they encounter behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, loss, conflict, and family transitions. Caroline believes that parents are an important part of the counseling process and works alongside parents to support the whole family. In addition to working with families and children, Caroline works with couples to enrich their marital relationship through increased communication, trust, and a deeper understanding of one another. Caroline is certified in Restoration Therapy (Level 1) and Relate|Strong for Couples and offers both premarital and marital counseling. Caroline also offers individual counseling to adults seeking assistance with anxiety, grief, family of origin, and relational dynamics.

Caroline is trained to administer the Brown Executive Function/Attention Scales Assessment which describe symptoms in agreement with a diagnosis of ADHD. This assessment screens for and assesses the clinical symptoms of ADHD as listed in the DSM-5 (a reference manual on mental health conditions.) This assessment is a valuable tool along with a client’s therapeutic history and personal experiences. The assessment provides clarity and direction in an individual’s therapeutic journey as well as their academic and career pursuits. For more information regarding the assessment, including pricing and availability, please reach out to Caroline directly.
