Education & Experience

Sierra Aguilar is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling (MABC). She completed her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences at Texas A&M University in 2013. Sierra spent several years working as a medical assistant and as well as serving with a para-church organization before pursuing vocational counseling. Sierra’s passion for mental health grew out of her time with patients, ministry staff and students. Her extensive knowledge about the intersection of mental and medical health has enabled Sierra to assess her clients holistically and individualize her approaches.

Sierra believes counseling is a trustworthy place that helps people transform through both their heartbreaks and joys. Change happens in the context of relationship, and Sierra considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients and foster self-awareness and skills to enhance their personal relationships.
